Hello,

I am a bit concerned about the construction going on in Davis. It sounds like a scratchy record of bad monotone 80s German performance art techno music being blasted at full notch decibel level, interspersed with huge boulders crashing outside of my window.

Needless to say, this is interfering with the quiet work environment we usually enjoy during exam periods. Many of us try to take power naps after all nighters; it is hard to take naps when it sounds like there are boulders crashing outside of my window. I am also trying to drill a lot of information into my head for the upcoming exams. And though the sound of drilling on the roof does serve as an apt metaphor as to my current academic experience, it also breaks my attention.

I do hope you might consider holding off the construction until the end of exam periods.
